At DotCentric, we’re no strangers to the power of AI. We’re already using it to accelerate insight analysis, generate user stories and even support parts of our development workflow. But the real value we’re seeing isn’t just in speed – it’s in what AI gives back: time.

Time to think.
To dig deeper.
To focus on the kinds of challenges AI can’t solve.

We’re watching a shift across product and digital teams – and the pattern is clear. The most successful teams aren’t just using AI to do the same work faster; they’re using it to shift focus entirely. They’re spending less time on manual tasks and more time on complex, strategic problems that require human perspective.

Take user research, for example. Synthesising interview data used to take hours. Now, AI tools can summarise notes and surface themes in minutes. But the real win? Those saved hours are being redirected toward uncovering deeper patterns and opportunities that require genuine human understanding.

The same applies to competitor analysis, reporting and even content generation. AI helps frame the picture – but connecting the dots across your product strategy, user experience, or technical roadmap? That still requires the messy, creative, strategic thinking only humans can bring.

AI isn’t replacing product managers, strategists or designers. It’s removing the clutter, clearing the path and giving us space to do more meaningful work.

So here’s the question we’re asking ourselves – and our clients:

What would you do with 10 more hours a week to focus on the problems that really matter?
